Seasonal Town Employee Position Available
Job Summary:
The Town of Knight is seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Summer Maintenance Employee to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of town-owned properties and infrastructure. This position works under the direction of the Town Maintenance Supervisor and supports a variety of outdoor and general labor tasks to help maintain the appearance and functionality of town facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance of town properties, including parks, buildings, and public spaces
- Mow grass, trim vegetation, and assist with landscaping duties
- Assist with minor repairs and general upkeep of town facilities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including trash removal and debris cleanup
- Support road and right-of-way maintenance as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Town Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required with a good driving record
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
Work Schedule:
- Seasonal position, typically May through August (flexible based on needs)
- Part-time or full-time hours as determined by the Town
Compensation:
- $15.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications
